At JEFMI, we believe that faith is a verb. Our outreach ministries are the hands and feet of our mission, dedicated to sharing God’s love through tangible service and community support.
The JEFMI Help for the Community Project exists to support individuals and families facing food insecurity and hardship within our community.
We provide culturally appropriate food parcels and practical support to those most affected by the cost of living crisis, including marginalised communities and individuals with No Recourse to Public Funds, who are often excluded from mainstream support.
Our approach is simple but intentional, to ensure people can access food that is both relevant and practical, while reducing immediate financial pressure and supporting overall wellbeing.
Alongside this, we offer deliveries for those unable to attend in person and create a welcoming space through our distribution hub, helping to reduce isolation and provide wider support where needed.
Our work is shaped by the community we serve, ensuring our provision remains responsive, consistent and impactful.
Local Community Outreach
Our faith extends beyond our church walls. Through local partnerships, neighborhood clean-ups, and visitation programs, we actively seek to be a light in our immediate community, meeting our neighbors exactly where they are.
Home Management
Inspired by the spirit of stewardship, we offer practical guidance to help families flourish. This program provides workshops on financial wisdom, household organization, and creating a peaceful, Christ-centered home environment.
Anti-Abuse Advocacy & Support
We are committed to being a sanctuary for the hurting. This ministry provides a safe space for survivors, offers educational resources to prevent domestic and emotional abuse, and connects those in need with professional care and spiritual healing.
Feeding the Homeless
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat." Our food outreach serves the most vulnerable in our streets, providing hot meals, grocery packs, and a reminder that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.
Annual IWG Concert
Intimacy with God Concert is our premier annual event. It’s a powerful night of praise and fellowship that brings together diverse voices to celebrate the Gospel, with all proceeds directly funding our year-round mission work.
